Pamphlets and Pain - Not Very Effective

If you've ever been to the doctor because of neck pain, you may have received a pamphlet about your problem. While often educational, a new study that focused on Worker’s Compensation patients with neck pain, concluded that, “the educational booklets studied were not associated with improved outcomes in patients with neck pain receiving workers’ compensation. Whether these results would apply to a non-workers’ compensation population requires further study.” Read the complete abstract, click here.
