Ergonomics is essentially “fitting a job to the person”. An Ergonomic Evaluation is a strategic method of assessing the physical and cognitive parameters of the worker, his/her workspace, and the characteristics of a job. This is done to determine whether or not the job fits the worker and as a way of identifying and reducing risk factors. When a job is adapted to the worker, it helps lower the risk factors that can lead to injury and it also improves productivity.

Ergonomics focuses primarily on the work environment, making sure that the demands of the job are suitable for the employee’s physical capabilities. If you are an injured worker or want to learn more about our Ergonomics program, call our office today!
